Le songwriter est une espèce non pas en voie de disparition, mais au contraire en surpopulation. Le côté guitare folk/textes mélancoliques n’a pourtant jamais autant fait la joie des producteurs de série, de films indépendant et les amateurs de promenade sous la pluie, l’ipod visé sur les oreille, le col relevé jusqu’au nez.

Une découverte d’un dimanche pluvieux : William Fitzsimmons. Je vous mets le morceau “Please Don’t Go” parce que je suis fan de ce mélange fok/electro, avec des sonorités à  la Notwist. Mais j’aurai pu tout aussi bien mettre “It’s Not True” ou “Funeral Dress” ou “Everything Has Changed”. (ça, ça veut dire qu’il faut que tu ailles écouter tout ce qu’il y a sur son MySpace).
